I teach piano lessons in the Boston area to all ages, specializing in beginner to intermediate levels;  I'm extraordinarily patient, and great with kids. 

 

I can start at square one of the fundamentals of music theory, or give pointers on how to improve reading, technique, repertoire, creative tools/how to improvise, songwriting devices, or whatever a student needs help with.  I can teach singers how to self-accompany, as well as coach performance skills.

 

I also give clinics on music history and other aspects of music/pop culture - for example, Hip-Hop history clinics at Berklee College Of Music, Harvard University, Suffolk School of Government, Fisher College, and was a panelist at NEMO and other venues.

 

I'm currently teaching at Ivy Music Academy in Norfolk, MA; I've taught music theory and music history classes at the Center For Digital Imaging Arts, a Boston University affiliate school, and piano lessons and ensemble instruction at the Cambridge Arts Academy (formerly School Of Groove) in Somerville, MA.
